Weekend in Quebec City, 4-5 August 2007


The highlight of the trip was the Loto-Québec International Fireworks Competition. We saw the Portuguese entry. Here are a few of my pictures; a more complete set is here.

The "Nouveau France" festival was also happening while we were there.

These giant effigies (more pictures here) were the first thing we saw.

The festival filled the streets, so here are some street scenes, such as:
