Epia

This system is based on an Epia Via C3 CPU. It's slow, but quiet, cool, and doesn't use much electricity.

This is the motherboard. As you can see, it's slightly larger than a CD case.

Here I've placed it into the case:

Here is the fully assembled unit, sitting next to the machine it replaces, "the cheapest box at the office superstore the day after my previous machine died." Which works fine, but I didn't want to run it 24/7 when the weather got warm.

My father said it looked like a DVD Player. I could turn it into one, easily enough...
