       Minutes of the Radio Rensselaer General Meeting of
                        9 September 1984


Meeting called to order at 2:02 by myself.


Department Reports:
   Business:
          Aaron & John are handling business for now.  We do 
       have money.
   Engineering:
          Tech changes are happening.  Many levels are going to 
       +4.  
          Engineering training will be on Sat. morning for 
       advanced versions and Sunday afternoon for newer folks.
   Public Relations:
          The PR Department can use help if you've got time.
   Membership:
          We have members.  also quorum.
   Station Manager:
          John left the transmitter in local and it was necessary 
       for the site to be visited late at night.  The next 
       morning people were found on the site that shouldn't have 
       been there without our knowledge.  John is looking into 
       it.
   President
          Run for an unfilled office (Business Manager, Chief 
       Engineer, or Member at Large) if you can.  


General Business:

     By-law 6 to the Radio Rensselaer Constitution was passed by 
  voice vote.  It provides that no person may be excluded from a 
  Radio Rensselaer general meeting except for indecorous behaviour.

     The meeting was recessed and moved to the much roomier 
  CC 318.

     By a unanimous vote of 19-0-3 the membership agreed that 
  membership in Radio Rensselaer will not henceforth be a 
  requirement for receiving a show.

     Brian Borchers reported on summer events at WRPI, Mike 
  Passaretti explained the current status of the Coke machine, 
  and we ended the meeting to hold other meetings.
